This role will be responsible to drive the development of initiatives within the CEMEA TTR plan and ensure successful performance of TTR products in the region. S/he will be a member of the regional cross-functional brand team and a point-person for country marketers. The individual will co-develop and implement commercial communications strategies and tactics across the CEMEA region.

This key role will collaborate with key stakeholders in global marketing, country teams and regional expertise areas to both ensure alignment of strategies and seamless execution of tactics to maximize the potential of Alnylam’s ATTR portfolio. The TTR Marketing Director will report to the Senior Director, Product Lead for TTR Programs, CEMEA

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Drive development of market-shaping campaigns and their integration into multichannel initiatives.
Lead development of programmes and content to further the understanding of the RNAi role to transform hATTR outcomes.
Introduce patient centric programmes enhancing partnership with their physicians in their care plan.
Support the development and utilization of global conference content and materials, maximizing the opportunity provided by virtual platforms.
Ensure flawless implementation of the CEMEA TTR plan in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders in the countries and the CEMEA region
Support and guide country teams to localize the TTR brand and educational strategies, and monitor and enhance execution including:
Support countries with materials tailored to the European context and in line with the global strategy, e.g. marketing or training materials, multichannel stakeholder engagement initiatives, regional or local educational activities
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local and national key opinion leaders (KOLs) within the disease area.
Gain actionable customer insights by working with Market Research team and through customer interaction.
Ensure effective agency management including flawless investment tracking and appropriate investment choices
Participate in global commercial projects and ensure regional insights in global initiatives.
Collaborate with legal, regulatory, and compliance stakeholders to ensure compliant development and execution of marketing initiatives.
Leverage best practices from within the commercial organization and continually foster learning from industry best practices.
Build sustainable relationships and leverage areas of synergy to achieve common goals of the CEMEA Commercial Team.

Qualifications

Experience leading marketing initiatives across the European region towards a shared vision with consistent execution of brand strategy.
A track record of developing marketing strategies based on insight and innovation that have meaningfully enhanced brand strategy and tactisal effectiveness.
Ability to help set a vision, develop robust action plans, overcome obstacles and find solutions to problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to work collaboratively across expertise areas and functions; seeks to advance higher goals; highly regarded across stakeholders both at senior and junior levels; inspires trust at all levels
Prior regional commercial leadership experience, sales and/or sales management experience is desirable.
Experience in coordinating multiple agencies/vendors and managing budgets.
Proven leadership skills and strong ability to build relationships and alignment in a matrix environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrates strong personal ethics and responsibility to purpose.
Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize work with the ability to consistently achieve positive results is required.
