Scope of work工作范围:
Lead and evolve visionary manufacturing strategies for all HVAC sites in North Asia to build a competitive position to satisfy customers’ needs and to support the business growth by introducing BIC manufacturing tools, models and systems through working all plant managers and function leaders for driving Make or Buy decisions as well as for right capacity planning that resonates with our LRP. Relentlessly drive continuous improvement at on-time delivery, inventory velocity, lead time and response time, as well as cost optimization by leading key strategic programs implementation.
Basic Accountabilities基本职责:
1. Based on business LRP to develop and evolve a clear manufacturing strategy for all plants in North Asia to support the business growth with achieving competitive advantage on quality, delivery and cost.
2. Determine Capex investment plan for expanding the capacity at the proper time for business growth as well as utilization optimization.
3. Work with manufacturing, supply chain and engineering to revisit Make or Buy decisions from time to time ensure that the current status is the best.
4. Lead key strategic programs for creating significant competitive advantage, such as TOW, footprint optimization, supply chain integration…etc.
5. Monitor the performance of the overall manufacturing sites and drive short/long term continuing improvement by embedding our strategies across functions.
6. Collaborate in business LRP and creating long-range product roadmap to ensure manufacturing readiness in the market across the region
7. Drive manufacturing transformation with digitalization and automation, while benchmarking key HVAC players & other industry to strategically optimize manufacturing engineering
8. Work with corporate function leaders to align region strategy along with global strategy
9. Act as trusted advisor on manufacturing strategies with the objective to transform our operations sites into a source of competitive advantage
10. Ensure extraction & continuous improvement of HVAC factories manufacturing key competencies & skills, especially for ETO products. (As we rely a lot on old skilled workers’ personal competency while facing labor aging issue.)
Qualification & Requirement任职资格:
1. Bachelor’s degree in industry engineering or related disciplines, MBA is preferred
2. 10+ years operations and manufacturing management experience with P&L responsibilities, HVACR industry is preferred.
3. Strong leadership in people management and labor relations & engagement
4. Strategic and critical thinking
5. Good business acumen and forward thinking
6. A quick learner adaptable to changes.
7. Fluent in spoken and written English
