We are seeking a Social Media Manager based in London with at least 3 years’ experience managing social media platforms.
The role’s primary focus is to achieve our social media follower and engagement targets in addition to supporting the marketing team by creating compelling content and delivering insightful metrics.

As our Social Media Manager you will lead the following efforts globally:
• Social media strategy, optimising reach and scale by matching the right content with the right platform
• Persuasive writing skills, utilising the art of headline writing and an engaging content
• Advising on social media strategy as it relates to digital trends that can expand social reach
• Work on video content creation planning and execution, involved in script writing, voiceovers and production
• Manage Eggplant’s social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, WeChat)
• Manage social media scheduling and social employee advocacy platform
• Manage the Eggplant social community by developing key relationships with thought leaders, groups and communities across the digital landscape
• Track social media marketing performance and return on investment and prepare weekly or monthly reports for management
• Monitor and report on competitor activity as well as monitor and report on social sentiment
• Support the Digital Marketing Manager in rolling out campaigns and day to day administrative tasks
• Assist wider marketing team with events, video production and other day to day requirements
• Design social assets and digital banners
• Create and send the fortnightly Eggplant Essentials newsletter, which involves information gathering from key staff, putting the newsletter together and sending at the beginning and middle of every month
Job Qualifications
Education & Training:
• Training in Digital Marketing, or related discipline or equivalent work experience
• Educated to a degree level along with marketing qualification
Work Experience:
• 3+ years of experience managing social media platforms
• Experience of working with campaigns, email platforms and CMS platforms
• Computer literate and proficient in standard office applications MS Office as well as social media platforms Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram.
Specialised Knowledge & Skills:
• Excellent knowledge of various social media platforms (in particular, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat)
• You are able to use Photoshop and InDesign.
• Excellent English and writing skills
• Basic coding skills
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
• Must be results oriented, customer focused, and exhibit good interpersonal skills
