EMOBILITY – SENIOR TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER

As Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordination, evaluation, and execution of all activities involved in development of eMobility and vehicle electrification for North America customers.

 

 

 

Your challenges?

 

Responsible to provide expert technical and financial leadership in coordinating, facilitating, motivating, and directing efforts of cross-functional program teams including individuals from Engineering Teams, Sales, and Business Development with direction and guidance from corporate strategy and goals

 

Ensures that technical and financial objectives are clearly documented and cascaded to each functional area

 

Ownership of development and maintenance of program timeline to ensure milestones are achieved, customer and internal objectives/requirements are met, with appropriate and timely escalation if required

 

Ensure programs are executed in accordance with internal and customer quality/process requirements in accordance with APQP methods

 

Ensures full team participation, proper communication across all groups involved understand all the demands, objectives, and deadlines required for the successful launch of a program

 

Ensures that the profitability of the program is maximized throughout the program launch

 

Leads the communication of all program related issues and responsibilities both within VSea and to the customer

 

Ensures countermeasures are initiated to correct unfavorable variances by communicating alternative measures to the customer, which may be used to solve engineering problems

 

Documents and monitors program objectives by mean of open issue lists, milestone reviews, and launch (manufacturing) readiness reviews

 

Manage day-to-day operational issues and coordinate cross-functional program teams

 

Prepare project reviews, gate reviews, and report findings to stakeholders on achievements, progress, risk and change management

 

Identify opportunities for improvement in existing process and drive ideas to completion

 

Ensure processes comply with industry standard and certifications

 

 

Now let’s talk about you!

 

You have minimum of six (6) years experience in Automotive Engineering Program or Project Management, preferably in electrification

Experience in High Voltage components: Inverters, OBC, DCDC

 

Experience in High Voltage sub components: Power Modules, Capacitors, thermal etc

 

Experience in software implementation and integration

 

Experience supporting a HV Electrified program launch

Required: B.S. in Electrical engineering or comparable study paths

 

Preferred: M.S. in Electrical engineering or comparable study paths
