As Test Lab Manager, you will be responsible for all test related planning, coordination, evaluation, and execution in the establishment and development of eMobility and vehicle electrification products including Inverters, On-board Chargers, DCDC converters, and Electric Drive Systems

 

 

 

Your challenges?

 

 

 

Lead definition and implementation of detailed test specifications, verification and validation test plans, and internal processes related to test engineering

 

Lead, review, and ensure execution of test cases based on requirements, analyzing the test result discrepancies and resolving through debugging

 

Interface and coordinate with global software and controls engineering teams to perform tests on simulation, software, hardware, and systems platforms to validate proper system performance

 

Ensure alignment between global test facilities to ensure proper test planning, requirements, process, and reporting

 

Support test equipment development, commissioning, qualification, and integration

 

Organize, plan and champion test problem solving activities during the development phase by utilizing both in-house and external resources

 

Develop test procedures to validate and/or characterize software strategy, performance and efficiency in environments such as HiL/MiL/SiL for early cycle software development

 

Support customer discussions, interpretation and creation of function definitions, test requirements, diagnostics, and safety requirements with customer

 

Summarize and communicate test results effectively to required stakeholders in an audience appropriate communication

 

Produce quality test architectural documentation, flowcharts, state diagrams, schematics, and reports for test projects

 

Lead communication and coordination with Test Lab Sources, internal and external to optimize test methods, processes, procedures, sequences, and cost.

 

 

 

 

Now let’s talk about you!

 

Minimum of six (6) years of professional test experience in power electronics or vehicle electrification at an OEM or Tier 1

 

Experience with Automotive protocols like CAN and UDS and Vector tools

 

Knowledge of automotive drivetrain/powertrain systems and components

 

Familiarity with development of simulation models for HiL/MiL (Matlab/Simulink) environments

 

Familiarity with software development design, life cycle, building, and maintenance of automation frameworks and/or high-quality software architecture

 

Experience with circuit troubleshooting, soldering etc

 

 

 

Required: B.S. in Electrical engineering or comparable study paths

 

Preferred: M.S. in Electrical engineering or comparable study paths
