Total Gas & Power have significant growth plans for 2021 for our SME Direct sales team.

A fantastic opportunity has become available at TGP due to continued growth & success of our Direct Sales operation in Newcastle. The position we are looking to fill is telephone-based, negotiating energy contracts with new and existing customers, providing outstanding customer service “We deliver what we promise!”

Our Business is on a mission to become “The UK’s most Trusted Energy Supplier” keeping the customer at the heart of what we do. The successful candidate will be passionate about SME businesses and able to demonstrate successes within a target driven sales environment or have transferrable skills and attributes aligning to B2B Sales and Service.

Package Details:

Salary: £25,000pa

Commission: Highly achievable and transparent, Up to 55% of base salary – paid quarterly

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Location: 7 New Bridge St W, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 8AQ

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Responsible for the retention and acquisition of Gas & Power contracts for Business Customers.
To contact a large portfolio of customers via phone and email to develop business and achieve daily KPI’s
To negotiate contracts with healthy margins to ensure financial and site targets are achieved within compliance, credit risk and payment term rules.
To quote customers using our bespoke CRM systems accurately, within procedures and controls to generate targeted sales in an organised fashion.
To develop and manage a portfolio of customers, building relationships and identifying business opportunities to maximise product holding through cross-selling and up-selling.
To work closely with the Sales Support Team ensuring quality and accuracy of sales are of the highest standard
To manage any customer queries to resolution and to provide support when required for escalated complaints or more complex queries in accordance with company policy.
