Position Summary:

 

 

 

You will work as an Engineer in Team Engineering Services & approvals. This team are responsible for technical publications, production documents and both Explosion safety and measurement certainty approvals for components and products.

 

 

 

We are looking for a Technician to support our activities creating technical documentation such as manuals, instructions, labels and other production documents. You will also work with certifications, approval documentation and processes to ensure that our products are safe. You will be collaborating with other departments such as design engineers to learn and understand the product and design, with production to ensure our products are built in compliance to our certificates, with quality to audit internal processes and procedures and with service organisation to create instructions and manuals.

 

 

 

This is a documentation and process-oriented role, which would suit someone who are thorough, flexible and open minded in taking on new assignments with short deadlines, understanding other department’s needs and collaborating with many functions within the company. Be keen on identify gaps and suggest improvements to daily routines and processes.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

 

Create documentation such as manuals, instructions, production forms and labels.

Performing production audits in collaboration with QA department

Support engineering team in provide guidance on regulatory demands and requirements

Be part of certification process in contacting test institutes, creating approval documentation and review existing certificates.

 

 

Candidate Education:

 

 

 

A formal qualification in engineering (or quality) such as Apprenticeship (completed) / NC / SVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

 

 

Candidate Experience & Skills

 

 

 

Excellent PC & Office 365 skills and ability to quickly learn new software (adobe illustrator, FrameMaker, CAD tools such as CREO/SolidWorks etc.)

Aware of Manufacturing design processes, especially on New Product Developments

Working knowledge or strong insights on manufacturing processes, general manufacturing practices best practice and processes

Experience in creating technical documentation, either in creating Manuals, technical Instructions, Customer Documentation or product labelling

Good written and verbal communication skills
