Apple’s IS&T team is looking for a highly motivated and extraordinary Engineering Project Manager with deep understanding and genuine passion for running programs, building complex multi-functional products and components in Apple’s fast paced environment using top of the line cutting edge technologies. You will handle technology initiatives across Applications and Products in Service management space to support worldwide service business.
Key Qualifications
  • Looking for a seasoned Engineering Project manager with proven experience in delivering highly multi-functional projects and programs using the latest technology stack
  • 5+ years combined experience in engineering and project management
  • Experience project handling complex, multi-functional projects
  • Solid understanding of software development and release processes
  • Detailed project tracking and track record of meeting work you’re doing
  • Strong engineering / technical background
  • Knowledge of key architecture components
  • Good communication and collaboration skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
  • Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity; drive clarity. Ability to create and execute plans in ambiguous setting
  • Experience in working in a large enterprise, with a global environment, across multiple timezones and geographies
  • Experience working with vendors and contractors

Description
Employ innovative techniques, working collaboratively with other team members and business stakeholders during the full lifecycle development process – including requirements analysis, design, development, deployment, testing and maintenance. In addition, lead the team in delivering solutions at the highest standard that meets business and Apple goals, while maintaining industry and Apple Information Technology best standards. In the process you will work with client and server engineering teams, solution architects, multitude of Multi-functional partners, many Business partners, BPR team, QA/QE, Automation, DevOps and Operations team. You will lead these cross-functional teams with only consultative direction from management. In addition, this role will be responsible for the following: – Successfully develop and execute work plans by leading scope, schedule, deliverables, and resource allocation – Actively and deftly collaborate with business and engineering teams on innovative solutions, requirements, scope, and project deliverables – Proactively identify and communicate project issues and risks – Prioritize issues while negotiating and setting appropriate expectations with team members, partners and senior management – Prioritize team activities and drive resolution of issues across all areas of the project. – Lead the development of technical documentation and post-launch support.
Education & Experience
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent 5+ years of related experience.
