Job brief

This is an entry level for graduate role. This level will work under close supervision according to laid down procedures and will be at Professional Development Program (PDP). The job also includes using prescribed methods, processes and formats to collect, document and analyze data that will contribute to update risk management framework, processes, policy & procedures.

Responsibilities

– Learn and help in gather and document Data/information to update SEC’s Risk Management Framework, processes, policies and procedures, standardized templates and tools.

– Learn and help in the development and update of risk mitigation action plans.

– Learn and help in Providing input to SEC’s business case for upgrades and enhancements to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) system solution

– Assist the Corporate Risk Management Department on an annual basis, to assess the effectiveness of the framework, processes, adherence to policy and practices in achieving the set objectives of enterprise risk management and report with suggested action plan to all Stakeholders.

– Learn and help in Contribute to the development and maintenance of the enterprise-wide business continuity management (BCM) program including, policy, processes and assessment of businesses ability to continue operations in the event of disruptions, emergencies and crises.

– Learn and help in Reviews the operational processes of function, study and recommend changes to optimize the workings of its function as appropriate to optimize efficiencies and effectiveness.

– Learn and help in Communicate risk management policies, as approved by the appropriate approving authority.

– Learn and help in Coordinate risk identification and assessment process across the organization to obtain a companywide view of enterprise risk.

– Learn and help in Coordinate with and assist managers of the Company’s Business Lines, Subsidiaries during development of risk register, assessment of identified risks and formulation of risk mitigations actions plans (RMAP’s) and risk control self-assessment’s (RCSA’s) and responses to the Corporate Risk Management department.

– Learn and help in periodically update risk registers and RMAP’s and RCSA’s In coordination with operational risk owners, to ensure that each is complete to the best of his ability and duly identified, classified and assigned to areas of responsibility.

– Learn and help in assist the Corporate Risk Management Department on an annual basis, to assess the effectiveness of the framework, processes, adherence to policy and practices in achieving the set objectives of enterprise risk management and report with suggested action plan to all Stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Finance field with 1-2 years of experience in Risk Management.

Excellent knowledge of English

Good understanding of the related Risk Management Policies, process and procedures.

Ability to develop and apply related models.

Good analytical and evaluation skills.

Strong communication skills.
