What you are good at

 

As a Schwab Senior Estate Relationship Professional, you will be responsible for creating an outstanding, expert experience to clients to build and maintain client loyalty. Specifically, you will:

  • Proactively deliver unparalleled value and outstanding service to our clients to build and maintain client loyalty
  • Proactively leverage emotional intelligence to meet clients and inheritors emotional needs during a challenging life event
  • Proactively utilize active listening skills, and relationship building skills to uncover and assess underlying client needs
  • Demonstrate an ability to take on complex estate cases and escalated client issues and provide solutions
  • Demonstrate a strong passion for client service, exhibiting positive energy and problem-solving skills to connect with our clients through all channels
  • Demonstrate the ability to engage clients in a manner that inspires asset retention and consolidation at Schwab
  • Proactively assess and demonstrate ownership to resolve client issues that relate to trust, estates, and other complex issues
  • Proactively identify and navigate clients to appropriate services and solutions
  • Demonstrate the ability to mentor and train team members to assist in attaining individual, team, and department objectives

What you have

 

  • Demonstrated passion for service and the financial markets
  • Active Series 7 & 63 and 9/10 or 24 licenses required (a condition of employment will be considered for highly qualified candidates)
  • 4+ years operational experience in legal or financial services including brokerage, banking, legal/paralegal, or research
  • Demonstrate proper client engagement for clients, utilizing effective time management techniques, setting clear expectations, and prioritizing urgent requests
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related area (will consider relevant work experience) with an advanced degree preferred.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication capability
  • Understanding of probate and estate processing
  • Ability to Successfully balance risk to the client and risk to the firm when executing business judgment decisions
  • Excellent logical reasoning, problem solving and research skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with an ability to multi-task
  • Proven analytical skills with an ability to comprehend complex legal and tax issues
  • Able to empathize and respond sensitively to clients during life event conversations
