Are you passionate about planning and executing large scale event programs that provide opportunities for teams to connect directly with potential customers and help drive the business forward? If so, we are looking for an experienced, creative, and detailed marketing professional to join our fast-paced and dynamic event marketing team! You will directly support the Event Marketing Program Owner by helping to plan, manage, and execute all components of this dynamic marketing channel by working closely with our internal marketing and global sales team to build and grow our event program. We sponsor industry events around the world, as well as plan and execute owned in-person and virtual event programs, that provide Media Solution with a platform to share our advertising offerings and thought leadership.

You will have experience planning, managing, and executing events of all sizes and formats. You have strong collaboration, project management, and communication skills and are able to roll up your sleeves to do what it takes to deliver world class events. You possess a deep level of experience in marketing with an emphasis in B2B strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage our global event program by supporting the program manager and handling the relationship with our sales team members who attend these events.
  • Lead the execution of Media Solutions events and industry tradeshows, handling on-site logistics, coordination, on-site troubleshooting, show experience and other related tasks. Develop a comprehensive pre-event and post-event detailed communication process in collaboration with members of the marketing and sales teams.
  • Plan and lead tradeshow booth activity and staffing.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of our in-person events and virtual events
  • Develop executive level communications to update and inform key internal partners of event planning progress, onsite details, and post-event key learnings.
  • Develop and execute post event customer surveys.
  • Conduct internal meetings with executive staff, sales directors and managers, and other internal partners to strategize, execute and communicate event programs.
  • Maintain and provide visibility of the annual global events calendar.
  • Handle event contracting and agreement process with internal support teams and external event organizers.
  • Manage and maintain an ongoing event program budget with support of the event program owner.
  • Handle our global distribution program for promotional and branded items and maintain related budget.
  • Be responsible for event/tradeshow tracking and reporting process in Salesforce to enable return on investment tracking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proven experience in running B2B event/tradeshow marketing.
  • Strong individual contributor with extraordinary organizational, time and project management skills.
  • Prior experience managing and maintaining a balanced project budget.
  • Consistent record of successfully meeting deadlines while handling multiple projects.
  • Works well independently while knowing when to strategically collaborate with internal partners.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once while meeting clear-cut deadlines. Previous experience using a project and calendar management tool is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, professional verbal, and written skills.
  • Strong performer with validated organizational, execution, and communications skills.
  • Experience in CRM and marketing automation tools (Salesforce and HubSpot) is preferred.
  • Experience with Photoshop is a plus.
