Main Position Objectives
The FP&A Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and analysis tools to the Maag Americas accounting team and the Eagle Rock, VA & Kent, OH manufacturing facilities. This will be accomplished by leading the activities of: financial planning, cost analysis, business forecasting, and budget preparation. The FP&A Manager will also serve as a business partner to Maag Americas leaders to focus largely on providing financial analysis and operational information to drive the business strategy, controlling cost and identifying productivity improvements by providing the financial backbone for prioritization of such.
Position Description
- Oversees and completes quarterly forecasts for Maag Americas locations.
- Oversees and completes AOP for Maag Americas locations.
- Oversees and completes monthly bridge analysis for Maag Americas locations.
- Provides department level planning and analysis and support for Maag Americas locations (and departments as needed).
- Possesses willingness and ability to gather, test, and scrub data sets for use in financial models.
- Works to develop models to predict as best as possible the changes and impacts of strategic decisions on working capital.
- Creates or improves operational efficiencies by process improvement and automation of source data flow through financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Works specifically with the new sales and inside sales organization to improve market and product reporting.
- Works specifically with operations to support continuous improvement projects – provide financial impact assessment support to be able to pick priorities.
- Works closely with teams across all department on projects to establish operational and reporting requirements, identify relevant resources and tools, and push projects to completion.
- Develops and implements MAAG Group Americas strategic initiatives with the leadership team in order to capitalize on new business and market opportunities.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
- Min 5 years of experience in accounting in a manufacturing environment
- Accounting experience for a public corporation
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Outlook
Desired Education and Experience
- CPA is a plus but not required
- MBA (Finance, Business)
- 7+ years of experience in accounting
- Accounting experience in a manufacturing company environment
- Experience with Syteline ERP software
- Experience with SAP ERP software
