GSPP Supervisor

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Selects suitable producing window of crops (selected families; Solanaceae – tomato, hot pepper, sweet pepper) that could grow well and produce high quality seed under GSPP standard.
• Ensures that all the growers are trained to produce the best quality seed procedures. Also, all FR understand properly to all related company standards, requirements and instructions. Plans development programs to improve the grower performances.
• Determines terms of contracting, reviews and negotiates production prices, based on company standard requirements.
• Prepares and signs grower contracts. Verify grower settlement invoices.
• Discusses with GSPP Manager to get assigned production planned orders suitable for grower.
• Discusses with GSPP Manager to get budget allocation, production resources in time and to meet planed orders production. Fine tunes to manage these budgets for maximizing and efficient production costs.
• Immediately implement necessary corrective ways to improve process for achieving seeds volume and quality as per plans and targets. Such as following up the numbers of seedling, surviving plants, fruit set demanding, diseases and pesticides to use, fertilizer programs, etc.
• Select and train Field Representative to manage crops.
• Ensure timely field inspection with field quality and local NPPO to obtain required Phytosanitary certificates.
• Monitor all production data is recorded and reported accurately and timely in SAP & FIDO, address areas for improvement to GSPP manager and complete grower performance analysis periodically.
• Harmonize all production related data, reports to keep data centralizing and also use to set up the new target, i.e. base rate, suitable plant population, ratio of male / female plant, suitable plants for growers in greenhouse and etc. This information would lead to the most success of work.
• Monitors and controls seed processing to ensure purity of stock seed. Solve and adjust the seed process to ensure seeds meet the quality standard.
• Encourages subordinates, collects, seeks, initiates, and implements new ideas and technology developments to improve production processes.
• Ensure Compliance of internal and external program in our operations including of HSE, Human Right, FCPA, QMS, GSPP standard, etc.
• Innovation. Work with Production Research to identify and address projects to improve reliability, quality and/or cost efficiency.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Horticulture or other related field.
• English language proficiency required
• Human relation skill and Effective communication skill required
• Minimum 2 years of Seed production experience is preferred.
• Able to travel and work in upcountry
