Head of Events – Fixed Term Contract

Your Role 

The purpose of the Head of Events, EMEA is to lead the delivery of the EMEA events strategy. The challenge for the Head of Events, EMEA will be to bring innovation to our events portfolio and directly link engaged clients to commercial results.

You will be responsible for: 

  • Leading the events team to develop and execute events with an emphasis on implementing digital initiatives and delivering against marketing’s core KPIs
  • Establishing a digital driven culture
  • Establishing and enhancing an effective partnership with in country marketing
  • Overseeing the pan-EMEA events programme
  • Managing budget and performance

The skills and experience you’ll bring 
You will:

 

  • Bring significant expertise in event management – within a financial services/corporate/regulated environment
  • Have digital event experience
  • Be able to effectively manager supplier relationships
  • Show experience in post-event evaluation and ROI
  • Be experienced in managing a team

  • Loves travelling (occasional nights away from home – UK & overseas)
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Is a confident self-starter and can remain calm under pressure
