Shareholder relations is a key strategic function at Partners Group. The firm listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange in 2006 and was included in the SMI, Switzerland’s blue-chip stock market index of the 20 largest and most listed Swiss stocks, in 2020. Today, Partners Group has a market capitalization of over CHF 35 billion. As Head of Shareholder Relations, you will be fully responsible for planning and executing the firm’s shareholder relations activities globally. You will work directly with the Executive Committee and select executive members of the Board and report to the Head Corporate Development.

 

Key Activities

  • Responsible for setting the shareholder relations strategy together with the Executive Team and the Board of Directors and then executing on it
  • Oversee existing shareholder relationships and plan regular shareholder roadshows and investor conference participation
  • Provide regular market updates to the executive leadership and act as consultant to senior management on shareholder communications topics
  • Together with the Head of Corporate Legal, take responsibility for adhering to all regulatory listing obligations that fall in the respective shareholder relations field
  • Together with the Head of Communications, plan all financial and corporate announcements
  • Lead engagement with proxy advisors and ratings agencies, including ESG and corporate governance analytics firms
What we expect

  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience in buyside analysis or a shareholder relations function, ideally in the financial services sector
  • Top academic credentials from a leading University (preferably Masters or MBA)
  • Native English speaker; fluency in German an advantage
  • Private markets experience an advantage
  • Proven skills and experience to independently manage major projects and work collaboratively with high-performing professionals across different functions
  • Ability to translate the overall goals and strategy of the firm into a clearly articulated shareholder relations strategy
  • An experienced communicator with a long track record in the function
  • Excellent presentation and analytical skills
  • An established senior network within large asset managers and research houses
