About the role Provide Consultative Talent Acquisition Support to the Region:
- Partner with HR business partners and hiring managers to understand hiring needs
- Act as internal consultant to hiring managers by providing guidance throughout the end-to-end hiring process
- Provide hiring managers with high quality candidates to help drive business results
- Develop creative, cost-effective sourcing strategies to continually build a diverse pool of top-notch candidates for Dyson across all functions and levels within the organization
- Utilize various direct and creative sourcing channels
- Proactively source passive candidates through a variety of networks including social media, professional networks, etc.
- Remain on the cutting edge of emerging trends as it relates to recruitment
- Adjust resourcing strategies as appropriate to increase attraction of top talent for Dyson
- Conduct first line interviews and make sound recommendations to hiring managers
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal business partners including a high level of communication on the process and status of open positions
- Make improvements to the process on to time to fill, quality of candidates and experience for hiring managers
- Build employer brand awareness in the market
- Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologies
- Maintain candidate data and the full lifecycle recruitment process via the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Candidate And Stakeholder Relationship Building And Management
- Partner with key business stakeholders to execute Talent Management initiatives
- Advise hiring managers and interview panels on interviewing best practices
- Work closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to advise on clear and effective job descriptions
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with all candidates to keep them engaged through the hiring process
- Advise on market and industry trends
- Build relationships with key leaders and managers within the business to develop strategic recruitment strategies
- Maintain legal compliance as it applies to regional employment law
Fulfill Other Duties As Required
- Identify and take on special projects that will support the Talent aspect of the people agenda
- Relish the opportunity to pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role
- Think outside of the box, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Produce ad hoc reports as needed
About you
- 5+ years of full lifecycle recruitment experience (in-house and/or agency)
- Ability to commute into the downtown Chicago office when required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience recruiting in Canada and/or Mexico is a plus
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) is required
- Demonstrated knowledge of various passive and direct recruiting techniques, social media platforms and professional networking channels
- Skilled in end-to-end recruitment lifecycle components including, but not limited to: sourcing, screening, networking, assessing, gathering feedback, negotiation and onboarding
- Ability to develop relationships at all levels within the organization and with external candidates
- Excellent attention to detail and discretion regarding confidential information
- Ability to influence internal stakeholders
- Proven negotiation skills

- Self-starter with excellent time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills
