A good candidate will look to do the following:
HR Strategy
– Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
– Strategic and functional responsibilities for all of the HR disciplines:
Workforce planning
– Responsible for shaping and administering employee performance programs, coordinating with department heads and staff for feedback with a focus on staff career development.
– Analyze in collaboration with Team Leads where the organization stands in terms of meeting future staff needs
– Identify, with the support of the HR team, any gaps and devise strategic initiatives to overcome these gaps.
– Develop strategy and succession planning to strengthen organizational success, including employee training and development initiatives to devise career tracks for employees who demonstrate the aptitude and desire for upward mobility.
Compensation, Benefits, and Compliance
– Develop strategic benefit and compensation plans, align performance management systems with compensation structures that attract and retain employees.
– Manage the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of company and employee documentation and be responsible for developing and implementing company policies.
– Ensure legal compliance of HR regulations and applicable labor laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.
– Maintain Payroll and employee records on a monthly basis for timely payroll processing.
With the support of the HR team, shape and coordinate the HR strategies for the below:
Talent Acquisition
– Provide guidance and lead the HR team through the recruitment process end to end.
– Provide direction on the new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to assure a smooth integration in the company.
Culture, Employee relations, engagement, and satisfaction
– Work with the HR team to design and implement company policies, initiatives, and culture built-up that promote a healthy work environment.
– Preserve the employer-employee relationship through effective employee relations strategies. Define specific steps for ensuring the overall well-being of employees, a safe working environment, conduct workplace investigations, and resolve employee complaints.
– You’ll be an essential member of the team and we will rely on you to be a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional face of MAGNiTT’s data proposition across MENA.
– 6+ years experience in multiple HR disciplines (e.g., workforce planning, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations) with 3+ years of proven experience working in an HR department in a Startup
– Knowledge of HR federal laws and regulations. DMCC regulations knowledge is a plus
– Excellent ethics and cultural awareness
– Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Google Drive, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
– Excels in communicating effectively (verbally and in writing) and connecting with people at all levels of the organization
– Strong detail-oriented, resourceful mindset and excellent management skills
– Ability to work independently, execute plans to meet employees’ needs, prioritize multiple responsibilities and work collaboratively in a team environment
