Mission:
Collaborate and provide support on projects carried out by his/her business unit/department, in keeping with the guidelines given by his/her supervisor, so that his/her work will enhance decision-making processes and processes involving the project’s execution and provide the internal client with added value through his/her professional performance.
This sub-function is responsible for all activities related with the safety and health of the company’s workers. Its duties include: recognition and assessment of risks of occupational accidents and illnesses, control of risks at the workplace or working facilities, training on risk prevention and dissemination of the importance of this prevention, recording of information and analysis of information, advising and technical support to the company’s employees.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for training of personnel to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities and to improve their capabilities. Induction training and management of the safety course required in the Project.
- Promotes safety values to all participant in the project
- Ensures compliance and adheres to ACCIONA Management Systems
- Assist in HS coordination on site and lead the HS Inspectors on field.
- Subcontractors HS documentation management in collaboration/supported by Nalanda and the HS Inspectors.
- Resolves directly issues on field that may arise in respect of Health and Safety. Use of digital system to report
- Assists in the investigation of accidents and dangerous occurrences. HIPO, Near Miss
- Assists with audits of suppliers and subcontractors in the field to improve and maintain a heightened level of safety
- Assists Project Managers and Field Supervisors with their H&S responsibilities when required
- Assists Project H&S Manager in carrying out his/her H&S responsibilities when required
- HS Digital Platform management
- Safety campaign elaboration and launch
- Participate in the HS subcontractors meeting
- Acciona Personal Protection Equipment management in collaboration with the HS Inspectors
Education and experience required:
- Minimum of 2 years operational experience in the application of safety management principles in the construction/ industry or Health and Safety education
- Experience in investigating and reporting safety incidents
- Working knowledge of risk assessments and audit procedures
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Package
- Languages (oral and written): Norwegian (bilingual) and English (proficient)
