Micron’s Global Security Organization (GSO) team is focused on enabling company success with the delivery of high business value. We are seeking an IAG Business Analyst to join our team working shoulder-to-shoulder with Micron’s IAG team within several Identity and Access Governance disciplines. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to advance a career in IAG with a variety of possibilities and challenges. Responsibilities
- Actively analyze and develop use cases / user stories for business, security and compliance needs
- Support process to regularly review and maintain backlog for technical feasibility, reusability, essential business need, supportability and priority
- Conduct role mining, role engineering and testing activities
- Support backlog review / grooming process to confirm whether to proceed with enabling requested IAG capabilities
- Support functional testing as required in coordination with Operations team
- Identify opportunities to improve risk posture, developing solutions for remediating or mitigating risks and assessing the residual risk
- Maintain strong working relationships with individuals and groups involved in managing information risks across the enterprise
- Provide consultative advice to information security customers to enable them to make informed risk management decisions
- Support testing and audit strategies to validate performance of security controls
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 2-3 years of IAG functional and business analyst experience or 3-5 years of related technology experience
- Functional understanding of IAG capabilities, intersection with other cyber security domains, products, vendors and industry practices
- Strong knowledge of coarse-grained and fine-grained entitlements, including enterprise roles and role design
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
- An ability to effectively influence others to modify their opinions, plans, or behaviors
- Excellent prioritization capabilities, with an aptitude for breaking down work into manageable parts, effectively assessing the priority and time required to complete each part
- An ability to work on several tasks simultaneously and pay attention to sources of information from inside and outside one’s network within an organization
- Optional: Fluent in Agile methodology (Jira / Azure DevOps / other Agile management tool), including feature, epic and story development, backlog grooming
Education
BS or MA in Business, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
