We are looking for an IM Business Analyst – Specialist Trading & Shipping Support professional to ensure the smooth running and maintenance of the Freight/Commodity risk management systems service (CTRM) in South Africa providing exceptional support to the business.

This role sits within our Marketing Business Unit at a Band 6 level reporting to the IM Marketing Support Manager
Job Description:
- Handle and resolve customer issues in the CTRM system
- Optimise business performance by enhancing the alignment between business processes and the CTRM system, in conjunction with business process owners
- Gain consensus on new process concepts to move process improvement forward
- Work closely with process owners and key users to understand business requirements and drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions
- Understand the business processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements and the development of solutions
- Involved in security/authorization set-up, user documentation, data interface design, data migration and data reconciliation
- Perform functional analysis, requirements definition and minor configuration and testing, in conjunction with third party configuration teams
Qualifications:
- An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM discipline
- Business Analyst experience with physical commodity trading domain knowledge
- Market and Credit risk experience
- Back office and ERP intergration experience
- High levels of ITIL accreditation
- Relevant business process improvement planning
- Strong business analysis and project management skills
