Inside Sales Representative

 Kawasaki Robotics (USA), Inc. is a leading supplier of industrial robots and automated systems based in Wixom Michigan.  Kawasaki robot experts are located throughout North and South America and available for onsite service at a moment’s notice.

We are not looking for a deeply experienced level candidate but we do requirsome call center or related sales/customer service experience.  

 Responsibilities 

Aftermarket Spare Parts Sales is an important part of the Kawasaki Robotics revenue stream.  Meeting or exceeding customer expectations throughout the lifecycle of their equipment is key to the Aftermarket business.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Communicating with customers through various media, including phone, e-mail, Fax, and customer specific software.
  • Fulfill incoming orders, including PO acknowledgement, lead time communication, and shipping requirements.
  • Understanding customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Answering potential customer’s questions and sending additional information per e- Upselling products and services mail.
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
  • Researching and qualifying new leads.
  • Achieving department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educated to High school diploma/GED or Associates degree
  • Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales/customer service position.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent phone presence and strong listening and sales skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability and dive to achieve targets. In a team environment
  • Proficiency in KHI reference web sites (after training)

Preferred Additional Skills and Experience:

  • Robot parts sales experience.
  • Automation sales experience (NOT automotive sales)
  • Sales or Marketing experience.
