Instructional Training Designer – 22 Months FTC

We’re seeking to recruit a talented individual with exceptional training design experience, highly organised with a keen eye for detail to join our team as a Training Specialist.  Do you enjoy working with people and building strong relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders across an organisation? Would you like to take on a fast-paced role within a highly motivated team? The Training Specialist will be responsible for the on boarding experience of new employees and learning experience of internal products. You’ll obtain necessary technical content from SMEs to translate into informative, engaging and visually compelling training for a variety of audiences. Material will use various methods such as face to face, virtual, video and Self learning. An ability to develop Digital training also would be advantageous. This is fantastic opportunity to bring your experience to assist BMW FS to start to build and develop a robust innovative instructional training programme.

 

The Role:

  • Recommend options to achieving learning objectives by looking to leverage both traditional and innovative approaches and technologies in training design
  • Develop & Maintain Learning journeys for all Customer Contact Roles
  • Develop learning framework for the delivery of process knowledge working with key stakeholders to develop the best concept of delivery in order for staff to deliver excellent Customer Service and accurate processes
  • Design, develop and maintain the Process & System training library so that the content remains accurate, adequate and up to date.
  • Assess each process and recommend the best delivery method of training using innovative approaches such as face to face, digital, virtual & self-learning
  • Deliver training to both individuals and groups. Act upon effectiveness of the training and feedback to further improve the impact of training courses.
  • Plan, develop, design and deliver ad-hoc training relevant to critical business initiatives. Keeping to deadlines
  • Deliver Train-the-Trainer Courses and provide ongoing support as required.

Quality and Improvement Coordinator

Qualifications and Experience

  • Extensive and proven experience of developing & writing innovative instructional training material
  • Proven experience of working with different training platforms for the development of material
  • Able to develop face to face & virtual material for train the trainer
  • Able to work under pressure and deliver against agreed challenging timelines
  • Able to Project Manage at basic level
  • Experience of developing Digital training desirable
  • Understanding of the regulatory arena, financial charging methodology and operational risk desirable
  • High attention to detail
  • Proven experience of relationship management and positive influencing skills
  • Able to work on own initiative, prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and multi-task
  • A good understanding of automotive industry and or Financial Services would be beneficial although not mandatory
