Your Profile
Advanced Unreal engine programming knowledge (Adobe XD and VRED knowledge is plus)
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills and empathy for the user
Adept at handling and analysing both quantitative and qualitative data
Knowledge of industry tools: Presentation programs (Powerpoint, Excel)
Fluent in English.

Your team and your responsibilities
Team/division description
Toyota Motor Europe R&D Centre is responsible for:
• Developing vehicles and making concept proposal for EU core models
• Reflecting EU technology to Toyota Vehicles timely by utilizing location advantage and strong network with EU partners
Body Engineering is responsible for Planning & Design of Body parts for European Vehicles from concept phase to serial production.
Your project
– Vehicle UX scenario setup with Unreal engine and VR evaluation
– Supporting concept and scenario planning w/market and competitor analysis
– Creating schedule for modelling and evaluation
– Modelling VR scenes and scenarios with unreal engine
– Prepare and organise VR panel evaluation and result analysis
– Interpret data and qualitative feedback
– Present and communicate insights in order to help shape product strategy
Candidate VR Projects to work on:
– Vehicle interior light & fragrance impact on mood enhancement
– Vehicle ambient light evaluation
> Interior and exterior light animations for welcome
> Safety warning light animation, position, colour, frequency, etc.
> Window reflections, day & night time
Place of employment: Toyota European R&D Technical Centre in Zaventem (Belgium), Body Design Div.
Starting date: Between June and September 2021
Duration: 6 months
