The IT Analyst is responsible for the strategic and operational management of corporate applications. The individual will work within a group environment to develop, maintain, monitor and enhance the performance and functionality of corporate applications to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Application Administration and Management
- Install, upgrade, and configure business applications
- Manage application security changes
- Stabilization, break/fix and other maintenance activity
- Provide user and third party service and support
- Analyze requirements and develop functional and design specifications for Application enhancements (as required depending on availability of business analyst resources)
- Develop, test and implement enhancements
- Create and document plans, policy, standards, procedures and checklists
- Identify, recommend and implement application solutions and improvements
- Supervise contractors and projects as assigned
- Be an available point of contact for corporate applications
- Work with management to determine IT objectives that will improve business outcomes
IT Compliance
- Plan and document all system changes within the company’s IT change control governance policies
- Compile and keep all documentation related to application usage and functionality
- Coordinate and respond to audit requests from both the internal and external audit teams
IT Training and Support
- Provide Tier 2 support to service desk staff
- Assess, design and provide application training
- Manage training for supported applications with outside training vendors
- Conduct internal company training as needed for supported applications

- Subject to working additional hours, nights, or weekends as needed to meet business requirements
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Subject to frequent interruptions; must be able to switch attention between tasks quickly
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and relationships within a fast-paced, team-oriented and lean environment.
- Willingness to assist in other areas as needed and be flexible with workload to meet the needs of the organization
Experience:
- 3+ years application administration.
- Workflow application development, design, and management
- Microsoft SQL database knowledge and basic SQL querying strongly preferred
- Microsoft administration experience preferred with Server, SharePoint, InfoPath, TFS, and PowerShell
- Support local and remote users
- Available to work independently in a dynamic team environment
Education:
Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent degree or commensurate experience.
