SUMMARY

The Omni-Channel Commercialization Lead serves a critical role in the development & execution of the JMS Omni strategy across all online platforms.  The Lead role will serve as the subject matter expert for field sales and the brand team as well as be the connector to all functions supporting ecommerce.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and champion role of omni commerce within SBA with cross-functional input/alignment

    • Includes developing strategies specific to pure play, click & collect and delivery

    • Includes developing strategies to optimize SBA portfolio with customers

    • Know what is possible with customers; act as internal expert on the customer & omni commerce

  • Lead end to end joint business planning (JBP)/sales planning process and integrating inputs across category, supply chain, innovation, Omni-Channel Marketing, etc. for pure play customers and support for Brick & Mortar customers

    • Be able to speak to customer and channel opportunities (know what is possible)

    • Represent customer and channel strategies at stage-gate and consensus forecast meetings

    • Recommend customer-level quotas, budgets, profit goals tied to JBP

    • Recommendation on pricing and  assortment recommendations to optimize JMS & retailer profit

    • Support customer specific sell in of key SBA initiatives/new items

  • Subject Matter Expert for omni commerce industry, JMS enterprise strategy, and category principles

    • Ability to connect and leverage sales, marketing, supply chain, and analytics to fuel profitable growth

SELECTION CRITERIA

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related area is required

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in CPG with 3+ in Customer Marketing (BC/CC), Digital Marketing or Omni-Channel Marketing is required

  • Experience in other commercial areas including Marketing, Sales, Category Leadership, etc. is preferred

  • Previous experience with JBP process

  • Demonstrated financial acumen

  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional partners to drive business results

  • Demonstrated understanding of customer strategies and retail environment
