Based in Nelson, this role reports to the Erecting Engineer and is responsible for supporting our apple, kiwifruit and horticulture customers by maintaining our automated erecting machines.
Responsibilities include:
- Day to day running of the erecting machines
- Weekly preventative maintenance checks
- Ensuring efficient processing to match seasonal requirements
- Processing of inwards and outwards goods for the Erecting Hall only
- Actioning stock takes and cycle counts for the Erecting Hall only
- Ensuring all Health and Safety and Food Safety management plans are implemented and adhered to
This role is a great opportunity for a person with:
- 5 years+ manufacturing sector experience
- Exposure and/or experience in Engineering ideal
- Experience with Food Safety Programmes
- OSH Forklift Licence with an F Endorsement preferred
- First Aid certificate preferred
- Sound numerical skills
- Computer literate
- Highly organised with sound communication skills and customer focus
