Learning Consultant & Talent Analyst

The Learning Consultant & Talent Analyst role will be responsible for contributing to various elements of the Learning and Talent strategy for the UK&I region. You will be responsible for ensuring that our talent processes and the insights we gain from them support our evolving approach to talent management and development.  Also, ensuring the smooth running of our performance management processes, and overseeing programme design and implementation of our employee development curriculum.

 

 

What is the Learning Consultant & Talent Analyst responsible for?

 

You can expect to be responsible for the following:

  • Managing our Elevate Talent System, ensuring that our processes are run effectively as per the agreed global and regional timelines.
    • Ensuring the UK&I talent data is input accurately either by our talent team, HRBPs and leaders at all levels in the business.
    • Regularly reporting on talent data and providing analysis for the Global Talent Review (GTR), Regional Talent Reviews, BU/Functional reviews.
    • Working with the global talent community and the global HR systems team to ensure the system meets the needs of the region, making suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
    • Providing education and support to HRBPs and leaders in the business on how to get the most out of the talent system and it’s reporting capabilities.
    • Ensuring all communications support our talent process, timelines and culture of talent identification and development.
    • Supporting the Talent Boards by ensuring we maintain the agreed operating rhythm and that agreed actions are being managed in the period between Talent Board meetings.
    • Supporting the planning and co-ordination of our talent programmes, e.g. delegate communications, programme logistics and evaluation.
  • Managing our performance management processes, take a lead on our end-of-year process, ensuring alignment with Group processes and communication and support initiatives to embed our high-performance culture and approach across the UK&I.
  • Managing the employee development curriculum, creating content and implementing programmes across the UK&I.
  • Working with external partners and learning facilitators to support the design and delivery of our employee development portfolio.
  • Ensuring new employee development solutions represent the most effective mix of L&D methodologies whilst supporting the organisations 70:20:10 learning philosophy (this includes virtual delivery of content in an engaging way).
  • Carrying out regular benchmarking to understand best practice in the employee development and performance management areas.
  • Providing analysis and insights on the effectiveness of all our learning interventions, providing recommendations for change and improvement in our approach to measuring the success of our interventions.
  • Managing the internal communication of L&D programmes to build employee engagement, understanding, take up and reputation of these programmes (working in partnership with our internal communication colleagues).
  • Acting as a role model, displaying a positive enthusiastic attitude to continual learning.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about managing learning and talent data and using insights to help support and inform the development of our people. This would be a great move for an individual with experience within a HR team who is analytically minded, is able to communicate effectively at all levels and is interested in developing their career within the Learning team. We’re looking for:

  • Strong analytical thinker, who is comfortable working with systems and tools and using data to provide relevant insights.
  • Comfortable working in a highly matrixed, complex structure, with the confidence to articulate and represent the regional perspective.
  • Experience in shaping employee development offerings.
  • Evaluating the impact of learning programmes on individual capability and business performance.
  • Contracting/managing L&D services from external suppliers.

 

It would be a bonus if you are CIPD qualified however this is not essential.
