Market Job Description

This role sits within the overall Loans Administration team at Wells Fargo International Operations. The team member will perform day-to-day activities and operations for the On-boarding team, as well as any ad-hoc tasks that arise.

 

Responsibilities:


The individual will join the post-close function with the London Loans Administration team with the following responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working with origination teams and clients across multiple locations in the daily processing of drawdown, rollover, repayment, prepayment, rate fixing and all aspects of the loan processing area relating to Agency, bi lateral, trade discounts and any other related facilities.
  • Claiming and collection of all fees and interest relating to the above products.
  • Reviewing and clearing of nostro and suspense account reconciliation breaks.
  • Review and approval of peer group transaction entries into system-of-record
  • Provide assistance to relationship managers in execution and closure of transactions.
  • Answer ad-hoc syndicate, borrower and internal queries.

  • Provide solutions to operational problems and suggest improvement to the workflow
  • Provide excellent internal and external customer service
  • Other tasks as requested by the team’s managert the teams focus on continuous improvement and challenge the status quo.

 

Market Skills and Certifications

 

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Comprehensive experience of servicing complex loan portfolios across agency, bilateral and participation facilities and a range of business lines.
  • Supervisory experience, including checks and releasing the work of other team members.
  • Excellent knowledge of LoanIQ gained from hands-on user experience.
  • Good knowledge of industry standards relating to documentation and credit practices including extensive knowledge and understanding of Loan Market Association (LMA) and Loan Syndications & Trading Association (LSTA) facility documentation.
  • Client focused with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Individual accountability and ownership.
  • Strong teamwork orientation.
