We are looking for a Temporary Expert Service Engineer to be based in Bor/Serbia who will be responsible for the service, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Sandvik Underground Mining Equipment. The position will report to the Territory Operations/Services Manager.
Your responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Familiarizing and complying with proper health and safety practices and visibly and personally participating in safety activities to show safety’s importance
- Resolving complex technical problems and providing information and solutions to technicians and customers
- Providing product support, triage and escalating higher complexity issues
- Providing guidance and technical support regarding all facets of equipment servicing with special emphasis on maintaining product integrity in the marketplace
- Carrying out repairs, maintenance and fault diagnostic work on hydraulic, electric and pneumatic systems
- Carrying out planned maintenance according to Job Plans
- Accurately collecting condition monitoring and fleet data readings
- Gathering accurate documentation of all parts usage and failure coding information
- Completing commissioning of new and repaired equipment.
- Completing equipment audits, inspections and reports
Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience in the maintenance of construction capital equipment, both preventive and breakdown.
You will possess a minimum of 8 years experience in the maintenance of hydraulic/low voltage electrical/mechanical Underground Mining Equipment.
You hold a University Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or in an equivalent field or hold relevant technical experience. You have solid product knowledge, trouble shooting and problem solving experience within Underground Drills. You are experienced in Customer Service.
An ability to work independently is a must, coupled with confidence in dealing with customers.
You possess strong communication skills in English and Chinese, both verbal and written.
You will hold a strong focus on safety. You will hold a valid driving license.
