Manager, Accounts Receivable & Cash Flow

Mitsubishi Motors North America is looking for a Manager, AR and Cash Flow Forecasting to join our Accounting team. As a Manager, AR and Cash Flow Forecasting you will manage the accounts receivable, cash flow reporting and forecasting functions.

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

Manage the accounts receivable system and AR ACH function.

Manage the processing of billing and cash applications.

Manage the collection process in compliance with company policies.

Responsible for accounts receivable month end closing.

Manage the cash flow forecasting based on budget and vehicle rundown.

Manage the preparation of supplemental cash flow forecasting reports, monthly actual cash flow report, and monthly/YTD cash flow variance analysis schedules.

Provide support to the semi-annual budget process.

Manage various general ledger account analysis and reconciliations for accounts such as AR, AR suspense, investment, loan, cash, interest, interest accrual.

Oversee cash account activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of the accounts. Monitor cash activities such as lockbox, wires, auto auction proceeds, investments and borrowings and responsible for recording and reconciling them.

Manage the setup of the vehicle drafting system and ensure a proper vehicle drafting process. Handle rejected drafts.

Manage the process of vehicle diversion reimbursement and terminated dealer vehicle buyback packages.

Manage the CAM system maintenance for MMNA sales division and Chrysler Covisint suppliers connect system.

Evaluate and recommend enhancements to current financial systems.

Research and prepare various audit analysis schedules. Support auditor’s requests for system and reconciliation verification.

Manage the activities of work group members by providing opportunities for growth and development by fostering an environment of open, honest communications, teamwork, creativity, and high involvement, productivity/efficiency.

Other duties and projects as assigned or required

What you’ll have:

 

9 – 11 years of prior exempt level general accounting experience including 3 – 5 years in a supervisory/managerial role.

BA/BS degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent combination of education and work experience).

Experience with SAP finance system.
