Manager (Defence MRO)

Job Description:

    • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with both internal and external customers pertaining to Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Sales.
    • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly targets to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Forecast and track key metrics such as KPIs and Sales deliverables, especially for key Contracts.
    • Responsible for keeping customers satisfied and delivering exceptional support on a day-to-day basis.
    • Liaise and coordinate between the customer and internal teams such as SCM, Inventory Management, Operations and Finance to meet planned demand / targets as well as address gaps quickly and amicably.
    • Understand Contract obligations, challenge the norms and analyze data to develop strategies for meeting customer expectations.
    • Pursue new business opportunities and create effective pipeline for forecasting and revenue growth.
    • Present to management on the status, challenges, outcome of customer engagements and plans to meet targets, supported by data wherever deemed possible.
    • Undertake additional assignments or duties as directed by Head of department.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in any engineering field.
  • Preferably with Project Management or Contract Management background in a MRO or production environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of the organization and customers.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects / assignments at a time while giving due attention to details.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and possess effective time-management skills to meet deadlines and planned deliverables.
  • Possesses project management, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as able to relate to others on a professional level.
  • Able to work independently with an interest in keeping things organized as well as a strong Team Player.
