At Invesco, we offer work experiences that will inspire and challenge you.
Your Team
Invesco EMEA serves a breadth of clients including financial advisors, pension funds, and insurers. Our customers have diverse investment needs, which we are positioned to deliver through 13 investment centres with expertise in equities, fixed income, and alternatives. Marketing seeks to connect client needs with our capabilities by crafting communications which educate, inspire and support our clients. Content Marketing enables this by producing editorials, product marketing and inspiring media that meaningfully engage our audience.
The Editorial & Investment Content team delivers a comprehensive programme of content that gains client interest, speaks to their needs, and connects those needs to our investment capabilities.
Your Role
The purpose of the Manager, Editorial Content is to deliver need- and interest-based content that engages investors – with a specific focus on ESG to reflect its importance to our firm and our clients.
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering the content that starts the conversation, need- and insight-based pieces; test & learn and deliver multiple angles to know what works
- Building our ESG agenda through your own contributions as well as curation across a network of ESG, investment and policy specialists
- Embedding an editorial style geared to insights-led, thematic pieces that gain interest and evolve with our clients
- Providing editorial mentorship to the broader content team, bringing journalistic pace and style
- Cooperating with digital channel, content activation and PR specialists to ensure your content reaches your audience, and encourages the next step
- Helping to advance our editorial forums to drive faster and flexible decisions on our content agenda
The skills and experience you’ll bring
You will:
- Have experience in an editorial or journalistic content creation role
- Show experience crafting original content for activation across digital and traditional media
- Be experienced in delivering an ESG content agenda
- Have experience sourcing and procuring content from other providers
- Be experienced in creating written, video, audio, infographic, dynamic and interactive content
- Be skilled in producing B2B editorial content
- Have worked in an organisation that has changed its editorial approach, with experience in that change a clear advantage
- Be familiar with all content formats from long-form thought leadership through to short-form video and infographics
- Be familiar with digital strategy rooted in engagement, recognising when time-on-site takes priority over page clicks
We are looking for someone who
- Has high editorial standards and takes pride in their work
- Is upbeat and can juggle priorities in a fast- paced environment
- Is curious about their audience and what makes them tick
- Sees the potential story in current events and is prepared with multiple angles as events unfold
- Is able to manage upwards and across a team
