Marketing Business Partner: Marsh Specialty UK

Due to expansion, we are looking for two Marketing Business Partners to join our UK Specialty division, the area of Marsh which offers our clients specialist advice and support. These roles will support some of our fastest growing practices – financial and professional services, cyber risk, and private equity, mergers and acquisitions.
What can you expect?
- Reporting to the Marketing Leader for UK Specialty and working with stakeholders from across the business, the Marketing Business Partners will be tasked with delivering measurable retention and growth. As a generalist marketing professional, you will need to be adept at multitasking, and as comfortable organising webinars and events as you are running email campaigns, coordinating thought leadership pieces, and composing social media posts.
- The role of marketing at Marsh is to deliver meaningful colleague and client experiences through sales, marketing, and communications by partnering with the business to help drive measurable retention and growth.
- The Marketing Executive will report into and work closely with the Marketing Leader for Marsh JLT Specialty UK, and other key stakeholders, to implement compelling marketing and communications strategies, campaigns, and colleague engagement activities. In this capacity, the role will support growth initiatives and ensure consistency across allocated practices within Marsh JLT Specialty UK.
- The successful candidate will be expected to build strong consultative and networked relationships across the UK and global marketing community, and within Marsh JLT Specialty.

We will count on you to:
- Develop, implement, manage, and report on integrated marketing and communication campaigns.
- Develop marketing materials and sales support literature to generate leads.
- Manage the production of thought leadership content and develop marketing campaigns to support them.
- Ensure marketing collateral is delivered on time, on brand, and on message, and is SEO optimised.
- Coordinate internal and external events and webinars, including hospitality programmes.
- Work with media relations and social media teams to maximise external reach and impact.
- Provide support for colleague engagement programmes (including newsletters, town halls, and the intranet).
- Work closely with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure all financial promotions are signed off and adhere to Marsh policy.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Business or Marketing. Public/Media Relations or Communications or relevant marketing qualifications.
- 3+ years of relevant B2B marketing and communications experience within a large, complex, and matrixed environment, working with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills, with proficiency in absorbing new ideas and concepts quickly and ensuring they are clearly communicated.
- Expert at handling multiple priorities to deliver exceptional results on deadlines, prioritising and planning efficiently when dealing with multiple stakeholders and projects.
- Experience with any/all of the following platforms: e-mail/digital mail service, marketing automation, CRM + social media.
- You will also need to be confident when dealing with senior stakeholders, who will be relying on you for guidance on their internal and external marketing and communication strategies.
What makes you stand out:
- Relevant insurance experience would be highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the cyber risk, private equity, or financial services sectors would be a plus.
- Experience using Pardot and/or Salesforce.
