Marketing Operations Manager

Job Purpose:

This is a Fixed Term Contract position for 12 months to support the additional workload relating to Marcoms GBOII. In particular the role will support the automation element of the project including preparation, landing and post implementation of a new workload management system.The job holder will be responsible for providing data and reporting requirements to Vendor Marketing Managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Support current workflow process – supporting current blockages and identifying and executing process improvement opportunities (20%)
  • Provide support to the vendor marketing team with data requests and finding solutions to business challenges (20%)
  • Participate in GBOII automation meetings to prepare for the introduction of Aprimo (April to August) and then support the pre-work,
  • landing (including training) and implementation of Aprimo (Sept to April) (35%)
  • Identify and support process training requirements and deliver training sessions to the team (5%)
  • Support the vendor marketing team (working with the digital lead) with reporting requirements (15%)
  • Support the marketing management team with reporting requirements linked to GBOII (5%)
  • Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • 10 to 15 Years of relevant work experience.
  • Some College required.
  • Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
  • Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills.
  • Possesses strong data entry skills.
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
  • Able to converse and write effectively in English and local language.
  • Able to create and conduct formal presentations.
  • Able to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
  • Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.

Working Conditions:

Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
