CSBP is a part of Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilisers. Our Sodium Cyanide business manufactures and supplies product to the Western Australian and international gold mining sector through Australian Gold Reagents Pty Ltd (AGR), our 75% joint venture with Coogee Chemicals.

About the Role
We are offering an a Mechanical Apprenticeship opportunity within our Sodium Cyanide team. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to gain practical hands on experience in a busy plant environment, and kickstart your career.
As an Apprentice at CSBP, you will be mentored by experienced tradespeople who are keen to share their knowledge and support your development. You will gain experience working in our production plants and collaborate with various teams within the business, with the opportunity to rotate between our various plants.

To be considered you will have:
- Successfully completed Year 12 (with passes in Maths & English) and an engineering pre-apprenticeship (favourable but not essential).
- A demonstrated commitment to studying and training.
- Willingness to work in a team environment.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- The commitment to prioritising your safety, and the safety of others in all practices, including understanding safe work practices in a workshop.
You will also need to be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
As part of the recruitment process for this role, you must be available to undertake a numeric, literacy, abstract and mechanical reasoning aptitude test and attend a pre-employment medical which includes a Drug & Alcohol test.
