The Medical Programmes and Innovation Leader will lead a Medical Affairs team responsible for the development and execution of the country Medical Affairs Plans – with a focus on Precision Medicine, Real World Evidence, and cross-franchise strategy; seeking out and driving innovation throughout the medical department and with external collaborators.
Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Team leadership of the Medical Programmes Team, with specialist Medical Advisors focusing on RWE, Precision Medicine, and integrated medical strategies influencing the whole Oncology Business Unit
• Develop and implement country medical strategies to support overall cross-franchise objectives, collaborating across functions
• Support team integration and implementation of country strategy for Non Interventional Studies/Investigator Initiated Trial activities including maximising use of registries, RWE generation, and Precision Medicine initiatives
• Partnering with Oncology Business Unit initiatives seeking sustainable system solutions, patient engagement plans, and ‘Innovation Playground’ partnerships externally
• Maximising sustainable value generation through Established Products portfolio linking strategy to pipeline portfolio development
• Build partnerships with country medical experts (ME), discovering innovation opportunities and addressing their needs
• Serve as country medical resource for medical competencies and leadership development, linking to regional and global Medical Excellence hubs, disseminating a leading excellence plan for the UK business
• Ensure compliance of information and communication with P3 and relevant local regulation
