Microstation Technician

Due to the acquisition of several major new contracts; coupled with strategic expansion, my client is now looking for a Microstation Technician to join their talented team in Cheshire. Does this sound like the type of secure company that can offer you the challenging and rewarding career prospects you are seeking?

Ideally, my client would like to find an experienced Technician, who is proficient in the use of 2D and 3D Microstation and has a background in working on structural rail projects. As an alternative, they are also open to considering similar people, with transferable PWay experience, who are keen to further develop their expertise.

The role will encompass a wide range of projects, including the design of bridges, station platforms, station buildings, drainage, line-side infrastructure and temporary works.

The team are always rewarded for their hard efforts and benefit from remuneration packages, above market rates. For this particular role, my client is offering a starting salary of £35,000 – £40,000, plus an excellent benefits package, flexible start-times and the opportunity to work several days per week, from home.

The role is realistically commutable from Warrington, Northwich, Runcorn and the surrounding areas and the area offers sensibly priced accommodation and a variety of lifestyle options to suit almost any taste.
