Job description and mission

 

The Workshop Technician Intern will assist the workshop team on all activities managed by Service in Creteil. This will include Check and inspect activities (Check that Demo units returned in Créteil are working fine), equipment diagnostic, equipment repair and calibration, part order, generation of PO to customers, hotline support, part and loaner optimization.

 

After a training delivered to the intern on our equipment, this mission will be done in 2 phases to help the Intern to embrace all these activities

 

Phase 1 :

  • Main tasks:
      • Repairs / inspections / quality checks of repairs in the workshop
      • CMS / CRM recording of equipment to be repaired or checked
      • Customer follow-up for equipment pending agreement repair estimate
      • Traceability of service operations and activity in the CRM Service and Electronic Calendar
  • Secondary tasks:
      • Management of the return of loan devices.
      • Storage, cleanliness and organization of the repair laboratory
      • Carrying out cyclical inventories of spare parts stocks
      • Tool park management assistance

 

Phase 2:

  • Main tasks:
      • Management of technical hotline telephone calls (time slot 8:00 am – 7:00 pm)
      • Hardware and software integration of Mindray Solutions in the hospital
      • Installation of equipment sold by Mindray Medical France
      • On-site repairs to equipment sold by Mindray Medical France
      • Execution of contracts and Service products
      • Operations administration and activity report (CRM, weekly report)
  • Secondary tasks:
      • Assistance in setting up on-site demonstrations
      • Laboratory repair in case of specific needs replacing a workshop technician
      • Initiate improvement project for Service France

Skills needed

  • License degree in biomedical or electronic
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft office solution.
  • Good knowledge in computer / PC / IT / Network
  • Good English level to interact with Europe & China
  • Excellent communication French level
  • Rigor and engagement in day to day activity

 

A knowledge and experience in Medical devices and Medical industry is a plus

 

A capacity to perform VBA code for Excel is a plus
