Hotels.com, an Expedia Group company is looking for a data-savvy marketer to join its Customer Marketing team. If you enjoy interrogating data to uncover the drivers of performance, then this is a great opportunity to join a customer-focussed organisation and help drive our critical initiatives. This role is within our Marketing & Proposition team and will work alongside our Mobile App marketing team as well as our Customer Proposition and Insight team, providing a view on performance which should inform our strategy and planning going forwards.
What you’ll do:
• Own the strategic key performance indicators within Customer Marketing (CM) including investigating and providing regular commentary to help understanding of what is driving performance – both good and bad
• Help set appropriate performance metrics and targets on an annual basis
• Support the Mobile Marketing team with campaign analysis and regular updates on core metrics– downloads and monthly active users
• Build meaningful and insightful reporting in a timely and concise way that equips teams to make the right business decisions
• Provide the link between CM activities and overall business performance, equipping senior leaders with insight into the impact of CM initiatives
• Present weekly, monthly and quarterly updates in various business forums on performance and insights
• Own the relationship with our analytics teams to help prioritise projects that need more in-depth analysis, driving impactful and measurable insights
• Ensure accuracy of our data, working with other Expedia Group brands where appropriate to achieve consistency in methodologies and approaches
Who you are?
• Confident in data analysis using multiple tools including advanced excel, Adobe Analytics and SQL an advantage
• Able to use data to create a story around performance which informs others on required areas of focus
• Enjoy presenting your findings to senior leaders in order to gain consensus
• Strong communications skills both verbally and visually through PowerPoint
• Thrive on tackling broad, ambiguous questions by developing hypotheses which you then prove or disprove through the data
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively spot opportunities where additional analysis is required, pre-empting insight that will be needed
• Collaborative in your approach
• Experience of Customer Marketing activities and associated engagement metrics
