Cerner Federal Services provides healthcare information technology services and resources to help the VA and DoD improve the lives of the people they serve. Cerner Federal Services has an opportunity for an experienced, motivated Network Engineer II to support our customer. This position is in Chantilly, VA or can be remote.
Overview:
You will design, support, install, and maintain local area network, wide area network, and wireless network components. You will work on and maintain hardware components, including firewalls, load balancers, routers, switches and access points. You will coordinate network changes and communicate with impacted stakeholders. You will perform project work to update or replace network equipment. You will troubleshoot network connectivity issues. You will configure or upgrade network components and document network diagrams. Finally, you will mentor and support associates in daily tasks and troubleshooting
