Join our ITS Operations team as an ITS Operations Engineer with a clear focus on our Asset Management System (Maximo) and become a key part of our business. Working closely with the Asset teams, you will put your skills as an asset management system guru to use each day across our NSW assets.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
The impact you’ll have:
- Working together, you’ll provide guidance and direction to sub-contractors and other teams, to resolve and escalate system faults, conduct maintenance and restoration works
- You’ll oversee the use of the Maximo – Asset Management Information System (AMIS) and build interpersonal relationships with others to update and improve functionality of the system
- You’ll provide advice and monitor the latest trends in asset maintenance management practices and destructive and non-destructive testing techniques
- You’ll define maintenance standards and technical requirements for our assets
- You’ll act as an escalation point, and provide 1st and 2nd level support to our Traffic Control and Operations Centres – you’ll maintain applications, client operation systems, desktop equipment, server equipment, specialised systems and networked systems
- You’ll collaborate and support the overall management and inspection of road assets
- You’ll run Maximo from the corporate side
- You’ll use your skills as an expert user of Maximo to advise on its correct use
- You’ll utilise your experience in order to nurture relationships and provide advice to contractors
The talents you’ll bring:
- You will have familiarity with Asset Management Systems (in particular Maximo)
- You’ll have experience in a collaborative setting as a professional who has used Asset Management Information Systems
- Great communication (verbal & written) skills
- You will provide a solutions driven approach.
- Practical experience with infrastructure and facilities asset management.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
