Position Summary:
Provide the cleaning of food processing buildings, process areas, and follow up on environmental testing, ie. swabs from the lab. Promote plant GMP’s & Food Safety thru sanitary conditions. Haul trash as needed or requested
Core Functions:
Checking on the Environmental Monitoring Program from the lab swabs. They then go out and re-clean the area and call the lab to re-swab 3 times.
Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all areas to keep the building clean at all times.
Load up trash and cardboard into a truck and take it to the back of the plant to the proper containers to have it leave the plant.
Required to keep up with the Master Sanitation List and sign off on jobs completed.
Train & pass test on the fork-lifts and scissor lifts
Filling the GMP supplies (hairnets, beard nets.)
Skill/Experience Requirements:
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: industrial sanitation experience
Able to be trained easily
Communication and teamwork skills required
