What you will be doing
As an Operations Intern, you’ll be apart of the manufacturing process working in our best in class technological plant helping to produce our specialized homogeneous catalysts and manage our side streams. Specifically, this may include packaging/bottling, side stream management, perform chemical experiments, and other tasks as neededto become familiar with the chemicals and processes in the assigned production areas. The intern will produce chemical materials in a small batch process, bottle and/or package material, and will be assigned projects to complete where the deliverables will be the hand over to production personnel. S/He will be working in a team environment that will require you to interface with cross functional roles. This is a hands-on role in the production area. Following all safety rules and guidelines within the Tulsa facility will be required.
Who we are looking for
- Required Education: minimum High School Diploma
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree program in chemical engineering, chemistry, engineering technology or applicable science program
- Require skill: Understanding and operating of automated systems and processes
- Experience: 0-3 years of Chemical operator experience or equivalent
- Additional training: PC (Elementary), Microsoft Office, ERP systems
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow given instructions and procedures
- Ability to multitask
- Desires to maintain a safe, clean working environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
