The Operator 3, Machine position is responsible for the process flow of materials and product throughout the facility.

 

SHIFT HOURS:   Sunday Monday and Tuesday  7:00pm – 7:15am and Wednesday 7:00pm – 1:15am.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform the duties of a Level 2, Machine Operator
  • Leads team in meetings and projects
  • Train Level 1 and 2 Machine Operators
  • Identifies improvements per KPI’s
  • Communicates through Team Board’s and with leadership team
  • Perform Machine set up
  • Preform advanced preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment
  • Perform product quality control checks on the Machine
  • Operates multiple packaging Machines, or molding machines
  • Enters performance confirmations and shift information into SAP
  • Break Coverage
  • PTO Coverage
  • Reviewing / Confirmation of Shift Paperwork
  • Fully trained in Pull Sheet process
  • Perform housekeeping duties

 

NIGHT SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL $1.35/HOUR

 

About you:

 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Mechanical ability/aptitude, a plus
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Math Skills
  • Computer skills; Excel and SAP, required
  • Minimum three (3) years manufacturing experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, preferred
  • Understand manufacturing process flow
  • Trained in Quality/Sensory, preferred
  • Trained in Chocolate tempering, preferred
  • Class 3 Fork Lift and Handcart certification, required
  • Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time
  • Bend, squat, stretch, reach; frequently
  • Ability to climb stairs, often
  • Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs, often
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility
  • Noise level can exceed .85 decibels
