Are you an experienced Farm Manager looking for a career with a stable and growing global agribusiness company?
As the manager of the Tocabil Orchard (Wallanthery NSW) you will be accountable for the safety of all people on farm. You will ensure the effective utilisation of resources (people, equipment, water, inputs and land) and will develop a high performing and healthy team culture. Orchard Managers at Olam are responsible for tree health and identifying pest and disease, maximising yields, team culture and safety in order to deliver cost per hectare targets.
We seek applications from candidates who are willing to live on farm, who are open to change, adaptable, responsible and committed. At a minimum you will possess strong knowledge / experience in:
- people leadership and management
- irrigation systems
- orchard equipment and operation
- pest and disease identification
- cost effective implementation of agronomic programs
- yield estimation
Experience with Almond farming will be highly regarded as will a working knowledge of SAP systems. Additional training will be provided to all candidates as required.
