The Experience Design team plays a central role in bringing to life our Company Purpose: “World-Class Performance Delivering Hometown Service”. Our team members practice with industry leaders in design thinking, journey mapping and other experience design methodologies and techniques. The role gives you opportunity to think big and the satisfaction of leading your priority initiatives from concept to pilot to implementation.
The selected candidate will apply their experience design super-powers across Consumers Energy’s billing, payment and socially-minded programs and initiatives that have millions of customer touchpoints every month. This unique role ensures these critical experiences are infused with customer insight and represent best-in-class solutions that exceed customer expectations.
This role is a key partnership with high-energy functional teams and subject matter experts across Consumers Energy, and will be an integral member of our state and local service organizations dedicated to Michigan’s most vulnerable residents. The results of your role go beyond the satisfaction of helping customers achieve their goals and delivering on a world-class brand promise – your projects and influence will improve employee experience and build significant long-term strengths for Consumers Energy’s journey to a becoming world-class service organization. Near-term design initiatives include ground-up development of a protection plan and payment arrangement service portfolio for income-challenged customers, an integration plan with state and local agency programs and services, and a design-centered transformation of our customer bill.
