Ricoh Document Processing Services provides a payment processing solution to some of the largest companies in Canada. As part of that solution, we process cheques and Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs) on behalf of our clients and apply those payments to their customers’ accounts. The payment processing clerk is a key role within this group as they ensure the details of each payment are entered in the system properly and get applied to the appropriate account.

The clerk’s primary responsibilities are:
- Review of scanned images to ensure the quality is as expected and take appropriate actions to correct any detected issues.
- Search for and capture required fields within scanned images.
- Where necessary, manually enter data into the system.
- Apply payments to appropriate account.
- Apply business rules that are unique to each client.
- Escalate issues to client staff for resolution.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in mail processing department is preferred.
- Previous payment processing experience highly valued.
- Previous scanning experience preferred, Opex experience highly valued.
- Typing skills desired: Minimum 40 WPM with 97% accuracy
- Basic computer skills
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
