Job Overview And Responsibilities
A great opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Planning Lead (Supply Chain Management), responsible for all supplier management, site materials and production planning activities to include finished goods, raw material and inventory management. The Planning Manager will lead the monthly S&OP process on behalf of manufacturing, and with a dynamic, dedicated team of materials and production planners, drive improvements in key KPIs such as OTIF and lead time. This role will involve significant cross functional interaction both at site and international Group level. As Planning Lead, the incumbent will also offer direction, coaching and development to a dedicated team of direct reports.
Education and Experience
Previous experience as a Supply Chain Manager, MP&L Manager, or Planning Manager with an MP&L remit in the automotive, aerospace or other manufacturing/engineering sector, such as plastics, injection moulding, machining, electromechanical assembly.
