What is the SMA – PAG Group responsible for?

  • The Separately Managed Accounts Portfolio Analytics Group is responsible for the trading, implementation, and model delivery of Separately Managed Account strategies.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of the Portfolio Analyst?

  • Portfolio Analyst should ensure investment management and trading decisions are implemented accurately at the individual portfolio level for applicable strategies within SMA.
  • Responsible for investment guideline compliance, executing client directed activity, (i.e. deposits, withdrawals, and tax requests) and review and maintenance of portfolios.
  • Assist with allocations and trade settlement for SMA’s Fixed Income strategies.
  • Work closely with the model-delivery strategies, ensuring models are delivered to sponsors accurately and on a timely basis.
 What ideal qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?

  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance.
  • This position must have 1-3 years of financial industry work or experience in trading Separately Managed Accounts.
  • Individual must have experience with automated financial systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently, but also collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
