Your Role:
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Process Scientist within our Clearance Services department in Stirling. In coordination with Client and internal study management teams, you will be responsible for the execution of scaled down purification steps, to provide evidence for the removal of potential viruses from the downstream manufacturing process. You will be responsible for the completion of process steps on behalf of clients and also to provide technical support when clients are on site for the operation of process related equipment. You will also train and mentor less experienced laboratory personnel in all process related activities, along with being a key member of the project team to support the transfer and execution of process activities.
Who you are:
- Minimum of BSc in Biological Sciences or related subject (or significant work experience)
- Fully competent commercial experience in a GLP/GMP laboratory or related environment
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of chromatography and virus filtration techniques
- Previous experience/knowledge of Protein purification
